UConn loses Paunovic and Furphy to transfer portal
UConn men’s basketball now has four players in the portal from the end of their bench.

Paunovic appeared in 15 games this season and scored his first points as a Husky on New Year’s Eve against Xavier.
Before coming to Storrs, the junior played in Serbia’s top division, KLS, averaging 8. 8 points, 2. 9 rebounds and 2.
2 assists for KK Zlatibor. Paunovic still has two more years of eligibility. Furphy appeared in 14 games in his Freshman season, logging 2 points in the wins against Bryant and Marquette.
Before arriving in the States, he established himself as a key piece of the Australian national program. Helping the Australia U18 squad secure a gold medal at the FIBA U18 Asia Cup, where he shot 46. 4% from three-point range.
