Undefeated Mechanicsburg baseball completed the series sweep of Northeastern with a 15-2 victory on Tuesday, April 14. Eight batters in the lineup registered hits for ‘Burg, with Conner Eyink, Hank Huffman, Crew Lafary and Eli Wilson each knocking three hits on the day. Baseball Piqua 9, Miamisburg 6: Mason Casto went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Piqua rallied with five runs in the final two innings to pick up the win.
Greenville 4, Dayton Christian 3: Gibson Steyer tripled and accounted for three RBI and Greenville broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the sixth inning. Kenton Ridge 7, Benjamin Logan 5: Brennan Shaffer blasted two home runs in a fourth consecutive win for Kenton Ridge. Monroe 8, Fenwick 7: Dawson Watts tripled in the tying run for Monroe in the seventh inning and Owen Daniels-Day followed it up with a walk-off single.
