After three commitments early in the transfer portal, the Xavier Musketeers added to the backcourt again on Wednesday, April 15 with a commitment from UAB combo guard Chance Westry , according to Joe Tipton of On3Sports. Westry heads to Xavier with two years of eligibility remaining after battling injuries early in his collegiate career. Westry originally committed to Auburn as a four-star prospect in the Class of 2022.
He appeared in just 11 games for the Tigers as a true freshman in 2023. He reaggravated a knee injury that required arthroscopic knee surgery.
