Joey Fleming is drawing the interest of an SEC powerhouse. The 2028 offensive lineman has received an offer from Texas Football.

As Longhorns football looks to improve its 2028 class, they have shifted its focus to the offensive line. On Tuesday, they offered Alabama native Joey Fleming. During his high school career, Fleming has made headlines with his play and caught the attention of some of the nation's top programs.

While the Longhorns would get a boost with Fleming on the roster, they are not the only program in the mix. During the recruiting process, the Huntsville High star has received offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, and Notre Dame. Those are not easy schools to go to battle with, but Texas has made its interest clear early on.

Absolutely blessed to receive an offer from The University of Texas. @TexasFootball @CoachSark @KJJFlood @CoachZoloty @HHSPantherFB @Rivals @ChadSimmons_ #agtg pic. twitter.

The talented offensive lineman has already taken visits to Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, Florida, and Vanderbilt. That list should continue to grow as Fleming weighs all of his options.
