However, their recent performance is not up to par: FSU now has a RPI of 16 and only seven top-50 wins.
Despite a strong record of 36-7 overall and 12-3 in ACC play, their lack of quality wins leaves them at the bottom of Softball America's projections. The new host for this year’s College Station Regional is No. 14-seeded Texas A&M Aggies, while Tennessee Volunteers will take over the Knoxville Regional.
