Commanders reveal new uniforms, alternate logo

•Yahoo Sports

The Commanders officially reveal new uniforms, with a nod to the franchise's past.

The Washington Commanders unveiled their new, permanent Super Bowl-era uniforms on Wednesday, shelving the former look that had lasted for four seasons after the ill-fated February 2022 rebranding. The Commanders brought back the Super Bowl-era uniforms as alternates for three home games last season. They'll now be permanent.

Additionally, the old burgundy jerseys and white pants the franchise wore before the rebranding are also back. Furthermore, the burgundy helmets have the old glossy look, rather than the matte look worn over the past four years. Here's a look at the "new" uniforms.

The new ones look much better, but, more importantly, they'll have a new helmet. Instead of the black helmets featuring the player's respective number, the block "W" logo is now featured, with a spear going through, much like what Homage leaked on Tuesday night.
