Karter Knox commits to Louisville basketball, Pat Kelsey via portal
After being recruited by Louisville basketball out of high school, Karter Knox has committed to join Pat Kelsey's Cardinals via the transfer portal.
One of Louisville basketball 's top recruiting targets under former coach Kenny Payne will join the Cardinals by way of the NCAA transfer portal for Year 3 of the Pat Kelsey era. Karter Knox , a 6-foot-6 wing who spent the past two seasons playing for John Calipari (and Payne) at Arkansas, announced his commitment to UofL with a post to his Instagram account. Knox reportedly visited Louisville on Tuesday.
Knox is coming off a difficult sophomore season with the Razorbacks, during which he missed 15 games due to injuries. He was sidelined for the final 12 of the campaign after undergoing a procedure to repair the meniscus in his left knee. His final 2025-26 stat line: 8.
