Paige Shiver Condemns Sherrone Moore’s Sentencing: ‘Does Not Reflect the Seriousness’
Moore's former assistant accused the disgraced University of Michigan coach of breaking into her apartment and threatening her with knives

On Tuesday, April 14, Moore, 40, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and was fined over $1,000. Moore, who pleaded no contest to the two misdemeanors , is also prohibited from using drugs or alcohol, possessing firearms or contacting Shiver. “Today's sentence does not reflect the seriousness of Moore's unlawful entry and aggressive attack on Ms.
Shiver on December 10th,” Shiver's attorneys, Andrew M. Stroth and Steven A. Hart, tell PEOPLE in a statement.
Shiver accused Moore of breaking into her apartment “crying, yelling, enraged” on Dec. 10 after he was terminated from his coaching job. Shiver alleged that Moore “came at me with knives,” adding, “I was threatened, and I feared for my life.
