7 rebounds per game last season. He measures in at six-foot-11, 255 pounds. Kapke played two seasons at Butler from 2023 to 2025, where he made 16 starts as a sophomore, before transferring to Boston College.
It was a top candidate for the ACC Most Improved Player Award, as he averaged over 20 points per game during the final month of the season. The Huskers are still looking for a big man, with Boise State transfer Drew Fielder having visited Washington over the weekend. Kapke would certainly be another solid option for the Huskers, given his size and length.
