2026 NFL draft: Bills host player for Jim Leonhard's defense on visit
The Bills are targeting a good piece for their new defense prior to the 2026 NFL draft.
The Buffalo Bills continue to hint ahead of the 2026 NFL draft that they hope to deepen their new defense in the middle. With Jim Leonhard being named defensive coordinator under head coach Joe Brady, he will run a different scheme than the one former head coach Sean McDermott ran in recent years. At the top, there the Bills will run plenty of 3-4 base defense.
That means the team could stand to add to their nose tackle position, which is likely why Texas Tech Lee Hunter was town. Hunter shared to his social media channels that he was taking a pre-draft visit in Buffalo: #TexasTech DT Lee Hunter is visiting the Buffalo Bills today, per his Instagram. Interestingly, Buffalo only holds the No. 91 overall pick in that area . Could the Bills wait for him or could a trade be on the mind of general manager Brandon Beane?
