Cardinals hosted former Penn State QB Drew Allar on pre-draft visit
The Arizona Cardinals brought in former Penn State quarterback Drew Allar for a pre-draft visit on Tuesday.
The Arizona Cardinals are in the market for a quarterback yet again after a miserable 2025 campaign that saw them go 3-14. Former No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray got injured early in the season and never saw the field again the rest of the way.
Arizona has used a first-round pick on a quarterback twice in the last eight years, and while they may not take one that high next week, they could end up taking a flyer on one in the later rounds. Former Penn State quarterback Drew Allar was widely expected to be an early first-round pick this year, but his stock plummeted after a disappointing season that was lost due to injury. Despite his hardships, teams have still shown interest in him, with the Cardinals being the latest.
