Report: Juventus fullback Juan Cabal done for the season with adductor injury
The Colombian’s eventful season has come to an end with a few games to spare.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday , Juventus fullback Juan Cabal will miss the Bianconeri’s final six games of the season after picking up an adductor injury in training late last week ahead of Saturday night’s trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta. It could very well be the final chapter of a two-year stint in Turin in which Cabal has been more unavailable than he actually has, with last season’s ACL injury while on international duty with Colombia highlighting his time with Juventus after signing from Hellas Verona. It’s the fourth different injury absence for Cabal this season.
He finished up his recovery from ACL surgery and marked his return in early October, only to injure his hamstring in that same game against Villarreal. He has also dealt with muscle fatigue in the final two weeks of 2025. In total, Cabal has appeared in just 12 Serie A games and 19 in all competitions.
He has played a total of 523 minutes and started five games — which turns out to be a fewer number of minutes than the 617 he played a year ago even though he suffered his season-ending ACL injury in early November. Cabal’s last appearance was in Juventus’ 5-2 loss to Galatasaray in the first leg of the Champions League play-off round. In that game, Cabal was shown a pair of yellow cards and sent off within 20 minutes of coming on for Andrea Cambiaso — who himself had picked up a first-half yellow — to begin the second half.
