Nashville SC striker Sam Surridge is out with a hamstring injury for the team's CONCACAF Champions Cup second leg vs. Club America.

Nashville SC is without striker Sam Surridge for the second leg of its CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal series against Club América. Per a Nashville SC spokesperson, Surridge is "day-to-day" with a hamstring injury and did not travel with the team to Mexico City. Surridge has scored eight goals in 11 matches across all competitions in 2026, leading the team.

In place of Surridge, Warren Madrigal started at forward alongside Hany Mukhtar and Cristian Espinoza for Nashville, which tied América 0-0 in the first leg at Geodis Park on April 7. MORE: Nashville SC faces altitude, history against Club América at Estadio Azteca Nashville will advance with a win or tie of 1-1 or greater due to the away goals tiebreaker, while América needs a victory to advance. If the match is tied 0-0 after 90 minutes, it will result in extra time and penalties if it remains tied.
