Irene Oboavwoduo took an official visit with Lady Vols basketball , according to a Tiktok video she posted on April 13. The 5-foot-10 guard from Manchester, United Kingdom, originally signed with Boston College during the early signing period. Oboavwoduo reopened her recruitment in March, according to 247Sports .

Oboavwoduo held offers from TCU, Oklahoma, Clemson, Wake Forest and UCF before her commitment to Boston College, which made a coaching change in March. She also posted visits to Purdue and Cincinnati on her Tiktok.
