Hunter Carns recorded five RBI and scored a pair of runs to lead Flordia State baseball pasts Stetson, 9-2.
Hunter Carns was responsible for seven of Florida State baseball's nine runs scored in a 9-2 win over Stetson on Tuesday, April 14. Carns went 3-for-5, the lone player with multiple hits for the No. 8 Seminoles (25-11, 9-6 ACC), and recorded a career high five RBI alongside a pair of runs scored.
He hit a three-run home run in the third inning, his third of the season, and followed that with a two-RBI double in the seventh inning with the bases loaded. He's had four multi-hit games since April 2, and he's provided a spark for an offense that has labored at times without Myles Bailey . Carns' home run came in an inning where the Seminoles struck out four times, Cal Fisher reached on a dropped third strike, and it was one of the lone moments of offense in the game for the team.
