PITTSBURG, KS — Pitt State softball’s Heather Arnett set the longest hitting streak in NCAA Division II and MIAA softball history with 43 consecutive games recording a hit last week. Arnett’s new streak now dates back to May 8, 2025.

“I would say it’s more so knowing what my job is,” Arnett explains. “I try not to worry about anybody else. I watch the pitchers that we’re going to face and kind of come up with a game plan.
