Quarterback Kamden Lopati has committed to Michigan. The four-star prospect pledged to Illinois last July but decommitted on Monday. The 6-foot-3, 228-pound Lopati plays for West High in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He had been visiting programs this spring. Last season, he threw for 2,671 yards and 34 touchdowns and rushed for 730 yard and 10 scores Lopati is the sixth commitment of Michigan’s 2027 class. achengelis@detroitnews.
