Andre Adams, who's noted as a four-star dual-threat passer in the 2027 recruiting class, committed to Colorado on Tuesday's episode of ESPN's Pat McAfee Show . He's currently the 165th overall player and 15th-ranked QB for next year, according to On3. Adams threw for 4,273 total yards and 48 Touchdowns last season.

He's expected to be a fit for Buffs offensive coordinator Brennan Marion and the "Go-Go" offensive scheme. This also gives Adams a crossover year with starting QB Julian Lewis, who will be a junior and eligible for the 2028 NFL Draft. The second recruit for 2027 after three-star cornerback Davon Dericho announced he would be Boulder bound earlier this year.

Deion Sanders and the Buffs will try to boost recruiting efforts, but rarely go the high school route to do so. Coach Prime has lived in the transfer portal over the course of his career. However, the mock NFL free agency model hasn't been a smashing success.
