The Seattle Seahawks held a visit with Iowa guard Beau Stephens prior to the 2026 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, as the team weighs this year’s top prospects in the interior offensive line. Stephens was named a first-team All-American by the Associated Press in 2025. The Missouri native did not allow a single sack or hit last season, neither did he commit any penalties.
Stephens only allowed four total pressures on the year. Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold was noticeably bothered when under pressure from opposing defenses in 2025. Darnold led the Seahawks to a win in the Super Bowl over the New England Patriots at the end of last season.
However, Seattle stands an even greater chance of winning it all once again next season with another great pass protector on the offensive line for Darnold. The Seahawks’ significant interest in Stephens gives the franchise an option to consider in the draft to protect Darnold’s blindside beginning in 2026.
