Tigers' Parker Meadows has broken forearm surgically repaired in Atlanta
Manager AJ Hinch announced that centerfielder Parker Meadows had surgery to repair the broken bone in his left forearm.
Detroit โ Manager AJ Hinch Tuesday announced that centerfielder Parker Meadows had surgery to repair the broken bone in his left forearm. โHappy to report a successful surgery,โ Hinch said. โBut he wonโt be here in Detroit for quite a while.
โ Meadows, who suffered a concussion, laceration in the mouth and the broken radius in an outfield collision with Riley Greene in Minneapolis last Thursday, had the surgery in Atlanta. He was placed on the 60-day injured list on Monday. Hinch also reported that lefty reliever Bailey Horn, who is coming back from elbow surgery, had his throwing program paused.
