Hugo Ekitike stretchered off with non-contact injury for Liverpool
Liverpool star Hugo Ekitike was stretchered off with a non-contact injury in Tuesday's Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Paris Saint-Germain. With around 30 minutes gone at Anfield, Ekitike slipped awkwardly as he was trying to change direction and reach a pass. The France star went down in obvious discomfort and immediately grabbed his right ankle area, sparking fears of a potential injury to his Achilles.

The striker broke through with the France national team last fall, earning his first six caps for Les Bleus and scoring his first international goal against Ukraine in November.
He also appeared in both of France's friendlies last month, scoring in a win against Brazil. With just two months until the World Cup, Ekitike would appear to be at serious risk of missing the tournament in North America.
