Dodgers make trade, acquire former top pitching prospect from Phillies

The Los Angeles Dodgers made a minor trade April 14, acquiring international bonus pool money from the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for pitcher Griff McGarry. McGarry, 26, is a former top-100 prospect who had made five appearances this season for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. In four innings for the Phillies’ top farm team, he allowed four runs.
