Walsh hits century - but who has most England Women caps?

Keira Walsh has become only the 15th England Women's player to reach a century of senior appearances. The Chelsea midfielder, 29, achieved the milestone at Wembley on Tuesday night during the Lionesses' 2027 World Cup qualifier against Spain. Despite the impressive feat, Walsh still has a considerable way to go if she wants to claim the top spot for all-time England Women appearances.

Keira Walsh is now one of only 15 players to have received 100 or more caps for England Women Midfielder Fara Williams played a record 172 times for England Women during an 18-year international career that included three World Cups. She is followed by another midfielder, Jill Scott, on 161. They are the only two female players to have reached the 150-cap milestone.
