When is homecoming for Michigan State in 2026?

Michigan State football has announced when it'll be holding homecoming this upcoming season. The Spartans annual homecoming festivities will be held the weekend of October 10 when Illinois comes to town. Michigan State's home game against Illinois on October 10 will serve as the homecoming game the school announced on Tuesday.

Michigan State lost its homecoming game this past season against UCLA. Michigan State will typically hold a homecoming parade in downtown East Lansing, Mich. the Friday night before the game, and also add some additional game day festivities as part of homecoming.

We will need to monitor for more updates on what Michigan State has planned for this year's homecoming matchup. The Spartans are looking to get back on the winning side of things this upcoming season. New head coach Pat Fitzgerald will have the tall task of getting Michigan State back to a bowl game for the first time in four years this upcoming season.
