Jones had previously entered the portal earlier this month, but will now instead reportedly return to Alabama for the 2026-27 season to play under new head coach Pauline Love. The forward started 13-of-33 games for Alabama during the 2025-26 season as a redshirt sophomore, averaging a combined 4.

Jones also shot 59. 2% from the free throw line, and was one of Alabama's top interior defenders where she averaged 1. 8 blocks per game.
The 2026-27 campaign will now be the fourth season at Alabama for Jones. A redshirt junior, Jones is a potential breakout candidate to watch for the Crimson Tide entering next season.
