High-scoring guard transfers to Colorado State women's basketball team
Camryn Runner was one of the top guards in the country last season, racking up big point, assist and rebound numbers at Evansville.
The Colorado State women's basketball team has signed a stat-stuffing guard. Camryn Runner has signed with CSU as a transfer from Evansville, where she was an all-conference player. The 5-foot-8 Runner averaged 18.
2 points, 5. 6 rebounds and 5. 3 assists per game last season.
She was named second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference. She was 44th in all of Division I in points per game and 24th in assists per game. She set Evansville single-season program records in points (637), assists (185) and free throws (218).
She also recorded the first triple-double in program history. Runner will be a junior as she joins CSU for the 2026-27 season. Over two seasons at Evansville, she started all 67 games she played, averaging 35 minutes, 17 points, 5.
