What spring storylines for Notre Dame Football will be overrated in the fall?

โ€ขYahoo Sports

We all know at least ONE big story from the spring will be a forgotten memory in the fall, so which one is it?

We do this just about every single year with Notre Dame Football. The spring practice season gives us a chance to wipe away the last bits of the previous season, and we all start looking forward to the fall and a clean slate. We also do something that has long been known as the โ€œJunior Jabbie Award,โ€ although I actually despise that term.

Still โ€” we all add a little bit more hype to a player or two each spring than is ever realized during the season. We do this to ourselves. The program could be slightly blamed for the hype, but generally speaking, we identify the players and groups that WE want to talk more about and we focus on the good vibes.

It makes sense โ€” why ruin spring with. bad vibe. The program is just doing their thing.

Spring football is for them and for the ENTIRE process. Taking too much of what is seen or said from spring by media and fans is the wrong way to go about it โ€” but we do it anyways. So with that in mindโ€ฆ what spring storyline will be null and void this fall?
