Kelly activated. Rashi to Reno. Pfaadt to bullpen.
— Jody Jackson (@Jody_Jackson) April 14, 2026 As reported by Jody Jackson, Arizona is expected to activate Merrill Kelly from their injury list, while moving Brandon Pfaadt to the bullpen, and the aforementioned Rashi getting sent to the Reno Aces, the Diamondbacks’ Triple-A affiliate. Kelly was on Arizona’s injury list due to an intercostal nerve irritation that he suffered during spring training. If the 37-year-old is to start on Tuesday night, it’ll be his first appearance with the Diamondbacks since making his way back to the team after getting traded away to the Texas Rangers last season.
