Andoni Iraola set to leave Bournemouth this summer Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is set to leave the club at the end of the season with the club unable to convince the Spaniard to stay. Iraola joined the club at the start of the 2023/24 season after a successful stint in charge of Rayo Vallecano where his teams earned a reputation for attacking football and a relentless playing style. That kind of football was replicated on the south coast with Bournemouth improving season under Iraola finishing 12th and then 9th last season.

However, the Cherries have been unable to convince the 43-year-old to extend his stay at the club with BBC Sport journalists Sami Mokbel and Nizaar Kinsella reporting that he is set to depart. Iraola will certainly have plenty of suitors from clubs looking for a new manager with former side Athletic Club among those linked with the manager. Bournemouth are currently 11th in the Premier League after winning away at leaders Arsenal on Saturday.
