To no surprise, the Wisconsin men's hockey team took a huge leap in the final USCHO poll of the season.

Fresh off a 2-1 loss in the National Championship game to Denver, it's no surprise to see the Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey team ranked No. 2 in the final USCHO poll of the 2025-26 season. In total, four Big Ten teams were in the Top 20, while Ohio State received the second-most votes of non-ranked teams.

Regardless, the Badgers came in at No. 2 with 914 points. Wisconsin had one more point than Michigan, the former No.

1 seed, which blew 2-1 and 3-2 leads to Denver in the Frozen Four. Denver, the now 11-time National Champions , received all 50 first-place votes and ended the season ranked No. 1.
