Altay Bayindir agrees personal terms with Besiktas Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir 's exit to the club may have already been agreed according to reports. Turkish outlet Fanatik is reporting that the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms with Besiktas over a summer move. Bayindir initially joined United as back-up to André Onana early in the 2023/24 season after signing from Fenerbahçe.
Yet despite Onana's erratic form, Bayindir was unable to earn a regular spot in the team with Senne Lammens being brought in last summer. Should Bayindir leave as expected then United will have a decision to make as to who is likely to deputise for Lammens next season. Onana is unlikely to be reintegrated into the squad while Radek Vitek , enjoying a successful stint on loan at Bristol City, may require another season of first team football before he could be considered competition for Lammens.
Meanwhile, third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton 's contract is set to expire at the end of the season with no decision yet on the veteran's future.
