Yahoo Sports

The Baltimore Ravens could prioritize adding an edge rusher early, with the 2026 class offering strong value at the position in Round 1. With Jesse Minter inserted as the fourth head coach in franchise history, the Ravens once again look to bolster their pass rush, with plenty of late mock drafts suggesting an edge rusher is firmly in play in Round 1. Baltimore's defense has consistently thrived by generating pressure, and maintaining that identity remains a priority after registering just 30 sacks in 2025.

With a strong edge class available in 2026, the Ravens could find significant value early in the draft. Adding another pass rusher would not only enhance the current rotation, which added Trey Hendrickson in free agency, but also provide insurance for the future as roles continue to evolve. The Ravens have historically excelled at developing defensive talent, particularly along the front seven.

That track record makes edge rusher one of the safest and most logical picks if the right prospect is available in the first or second round. As always, Baltimore will remain disciplined, but if the board aligns, expect the pass rush to be a major focus. Keldric Faulk, ED, Auburn A dynamic and versatile pass rusher, Faulk ranked eighth in the SEC with 45 total pressures in 2024 according to Pro Football Focus.

Overall, Faulk finishes his college career with 73 total tackles, 19. 5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. EDGE Gabe Jacas, Illinois Jacas is a versatile edge rusher whose combination of size (6'3", 270 pounds) and athleticism aligns well with the Ravens' style.

He led the Big Ten with 11. 0 sacks during the regular season, ranking sixth in the nation. He also tied for 13th nationally (and third in the Big Ten) with three forced fumbles, bringing his career total to seven, which ties him for sixth in Illinois' career record book.
