Wisniewski Is on the Jets' pre-draft radar despite not being at the NFL combine.

The New York Jets are slated to have a top-30 visit with an intriguing 2026 NFL draft prospect because of a snubbing the player received. Texas Tech safety Cole Wisniewski was not invited to this year's NFL combine. Even so, he has at least five teams inviting him in for a pre-draft visit and according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Jets are one of them: #TexasTech S Cole Wisniewski, a Combine snub, has had five Top 30 visits, spending time with the #Cowboys , #Vikings , #Bucs , #Jets , #49ers .

The Jets have made a few moves this offseason addressing the safety position, most notably acquiring defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick. While a safety, Fitzpatrick said he will likely play more of a slot defender role in New York, leaving space for another addition at safety. A transfer from North Dakota State prior to last season, Wisniewski put up 78 tackles, including six for loss, with a sack, six passes defended and two forced fumbles in 2025 in 14 games played.
