What the Tennessee Titans will do with the fourth overall pick in the draft remains and unknown, but one NFL Insider sees trading down as an option.

The NFL draft is only 9 days away, and teams are starting to leak both facts and misinformation to NFL Insiders as they prepare for the biggest event of the offseason. The Tennessee Titans are no different, with general manager Mike Borgonzi and his staff putting the final touches on the team's draft plans. Now, the big question is what they will do with the fourth overall selection.

That is something NFL Insider Albert Breer discussed in his takeaways column for Sports Illustrated, connecting the Titans to a potential strategy that has been making rounds through the fanbase. Which teams could trade up Teams picking behind the Jets are looking to move down. Count the Cardinals, Titans, Giants, Browns, and Commanders among those already looking at trying to drop down in the order to accumulate capital.

The problem for those five is finding teams to move up. Breer did mention the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints as teams who could be willing to move up, but really focused on a potential deal with Arizona. If the Titans decided to move back to accumulate more capital, it would be interesting not only to see what compensation they would receive but also which players they would ultimately select.

Breer followed that note about the Titans potentially having interest in a top wide receiver in his quick hits. And here are a few more notes on what I’m hearing as we draw closer to the draft… I’d say Ohio State WR Carnell Tate is secure as a top-10 pick, and could go as high as No. 4 to the Titans or No.
