The TSSAA girls lacrosse playoffs will start in about a month. But now it's time to decide who is the Nashville area's girls lacrosse player of the year at midseason. Voting begins now.

Sloane Symonds, Brentwood: Symonds has 26 goals, 23 assists, nine caused turnovers with 19 ground balls and 11 draw controls. Etta Muterspaugh, Centennial: In her first season, Muterspaugh has started all eight games in goal with an 8-0 record, two shutouts and 25 saves. Lilly Sites, Ensworth: The midfielder has 15 goals, seven assists, 22 draw controls, six caused turnovers and 11 ground balls through seven games.

Abigail Ellis, Father Ryan: The midfielder has 26 goals, 13 assists and 60 draw controls. Madison Ruggeri, FRA: Ruggeri leads FRA with 25 goals from her midfield position, including 32 draw controls and 22 ground balls. Anna Zone, Franklin:  In 12 games, the midfielder has 49 goals, 21 assists, 74 draw controls, 22 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers.
