Gujarat Titans seamer Prasidh Krishna has said that reading the conditions well, varying pace and building a strong dressingroom culture were central to his 4/28 against Lucknow Super Giants, a spell that powered a seven-wicket win and took him to the top of the Purple Cap race. He stressed that T20 bowling is about adapting to the surface rather than following one option.

At Ekana, he said, both batters and bowlers were tested and any lapse in line or length was punished. “As a bowler, you can bowl a yorker, you can bowl a length ball, you can bowl a bouncer. So we just try and play around with those things and on certain days some balls really work well and you stick with it,” Prasidh said, adding, “The pitch was challenging, I would say.
