Would this be worth it for Atlanta?

To start the season, the Atlanta Braves have been one of the better teams in the National League, currently sitting at 10-6 and in first place in the NL East.

It's been an impressive start for a team that's been that banged up, but it might only be a matter of time before things really start to go off the rails due to some of the injuries the Braves have faced on the mound. Factor in some of the questions about the rotation prior to these injuries, and the Braves are already in a somewhat weird spot. In order for that to change, the Braves will have to make a trade.

Mark Morales-Smith proposed a deal with the Miami Marlins that would send Ozzie Albies to Miami for Sandy Alcantara and Otto Lopez. Lucas Braun would also head to the Marlins. “Albies has been a great Brave and is a difference-maker when he's healthy and on the field.

Nevertheless, they badly need another starter to fill out their battered rotation. “When on top of his game, Alcantara has proven he can be among the best in baseball. With Albies' injury history and approaching 30 years old with only a 2027 club option left on his contract, getting the most value possible for him now would make a lot of sense…” There have already been questions about the future of Albies and the Braves.
