It's a bit questionable why he's still available right now, as he's put together some good seasons throughout his career, but Jennings will eventually find a nice home for himself. The question for the 28-year-old wide receiver is whether he ends up back in San Francisco, which seems very unlikely right now, or if he lands with another team. Jonathan Harrison named Jennings as a player who makes a lot of sense if the Minnesota Vikings don't address the wide receiver position in the draft.
“Receiver is a position the Vikings could likely look to in the draft, with several mid-round options as intriguing possibilities,” Harrison wrote. “However, if they don’t select a receiver, the Vikings could return to the free agent market for a veteran option. “While there are connections on the roster with some of the more established veterans on the market, no possibility has as much intrigue as former 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings.
” Jennings isn’t among the elite of the elite around the NFL, but he's coming off a 643-yard season with nine touchdowns. He also had 975 yards and six touchdowns during the 2024 campaign, so there's certainly production there for him to be a 1,000-yard receiver. In a Vikings’ offense featuring Justin Jefferson, there's reason to believe he could be a very good piece.
