In addition to becoming the exclusive home of Sunday Night Baseball, NBC Sports will broadcast MLB Sunday Leadoff, “Opening Day” and Labor Day primetime games, the first round of the MLB Draft, the entire Wild Card round of the postseason, and much more. Jeremy Peña (hamstring) Peña was pulled from Saturday’s game against the Mariners with what was described as right posterior knee tightness.

After he was held out on Sunday for evaluation, the team placed him on the 10-day injured list with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. There’s no timeline for a return, but in a best-case scenario, he could be back before the end of the month. It’s been a rough start for the 28-year-old shortstop.
