Ilia Topuria looking polished in training: 'We're sharpening the tools'

Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria returns to the octagon in the UFC Freedom 250 main event on June 14 at the White House. "El Matador" takes on two-time interim titleholder Justin Gaethje in a title unification bout. Two months out from the event, Topuria is in the gym working and already looking sharp.
The two-division UFC champion released the second episode of a "Road to the White House" series on his YouTube channel . In the video, the 29 year-old champion hits pads and grapples. Topuria last fought in June 2025, knocking out former titleholder Charles Oliveira.
When he steps into the cage to face Gaethje on the White House lawn, 50 weeks will have past since his last octagon appearance.
