Three Pittsburgh Penguins made Scott Wheeler's top 100 drafted NHL prospects rankings.

The Athletic's Scott Wheeler ranked his Top 100 drafted NHL prospects on Monday, and three Pittsburgh Penguins cracked the list. Defenseman Harrison Brunicke, who played nine games for the Penguins earlier in the season before being sent back to Kamloops, came in at No. 56 on the list.

Brunicke had a solid year with Kamloops, finishing with two goals and 24 points in 24 games. He's now with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and has amassed one goal and six points in eight games with them. He's expected to make another push for the NHL roster next year.

Rutger McGroarty is right behind Brunicke at No. 57. He has played in 23 games for the Penguins this season, racking up two goals and five points.

He also has 30 points in 28 games for WBS and is expected to try to make the team on a full-time basis next year. Will Horcoff is No. 70 in Wheeler's rankings and just had an electric first full season with Michigan, finishing with 25 goals and 39 points in 40 games.
