You can never have too much size on the basketball court. That’s the Washington Mystics mindset, as they double-dipped on UCLA Bruins frontcourt players in the 2026 WNBA Draft . After taking center Lauren Betts fourth overall , the Mystics snagged forward Angela Dugalic with the ninth overall pick .

Betts and Dugalic will remain together at the professional level. Even though she came off the bench, you could see Dugalic’s value throughout the NCAA tournament, easily being one of the Bruins most impactful players. Dugalic is 6’4” and plays with an extreme level of physicality that sticks out when you watch her.
