As we enter into Week 7 of the Tennessee high school softball season, it's time to take a look back at the previous week's top performers and cast your vote for The Daily Herald's Columbia area TSSAA girls Athlete of the Week. Here are the nominees. Autumn Forkum, Battle Creek: Forkum had 11 strikeouts in six innings while allowing two hits and no earned runs in a 17-2 win over LaVergne.

She also went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs in a win over Cornersville and 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs in a loss to Green Hill. Stella Weaver, Independence: Weaver went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and five RBIs in a win over Columbia. She also went 2-for-2 with a home run and five RBIs in a win over Lawson and 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in a win over Marshall County.
Elizabeth Hagan, Lawrence County: Hagan was 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and five RBIs in a 15-3 win over Loretto. Mae Ricks, Summertown: Ricks was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a 7-6 win over Cascade. The poll will close at noon on Thursday.
