Jaylen Brown has made a name for himself in NBA media circles for his thoughtful, and at times, unguarded answers about a variety of topics both on and off the court since joining the league in 2016. And the Georgia native was recently recognized for his loquacious bedside manner in a recent award series put together by the Professional Basketball Writer's Association (PBWA). Brown was honored with a nod for the organization of journalists covering the sport for their First Team All-Interview.

According to the PBWA, the designation, "which honors the players who are consistently thoughtful, insightful and engaging with the media," saw the Cal alum come in fifth overall in votes among those participating in the voting. San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama and Golden State Warriors legend Stephen Curry were the top two vote-getters, along with the rest of the First Team, Kevin Durant of the Houston Rockets, Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Brown. The Second Team consists of Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Draymond Green of the Dubs, Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, and Josh Hart of the New York Knicks.

โ€œThe NBA is a league of boundless talent and equally compelling personalities,โ€ said Howard Beck, PBWA president. โ€œWeโ€™re grateful to the players who go the extra mile to make our stories more informative and illuminating. โ€ Listen to "Havlicek Stole the Pod" on: Blue Wire: https://tiny.
