WNBA Draft 2026: Minnesota Lynx select TCU star Olivia Miles with No. 2 pick

Miles goes to a Lynx team that posted the best record in the WNBA last season.

The Minnesota Lynx drafted TCU guard Olivia Miles with the No. 2 overall selection in the 2026 WNBA Draft on Monday, adding one of the best players in the draft to a championship-contending roster. The 5-foot-11 guard’s ascension to the WNBA’s second pick indicates just how impressive her senior season was for the Horned Frogs.

Playing in all 38 games, Miles averaged 19. 6 points, 7. 2 rebounds, 6.

6 assists and 1. 8 steals as TCU finished 32-6 overall and won the Big 12 regular-season title with a 15-3 record. In the NCAA tournament, she demonstrated even more of an all-around game, averaging 19 points, 9.

8 rebounds and 9 assists in four games. Led by Miles, TCU advanced to the NCAA tournament’s Final Four as a No. 3 seed before losing to South Carolina.
