Iowa wrestling adds New Jersey state champion to 2026 recruiting class

Iowa wrestling made a late addition to its 2026 recruiting class on April 13. The Hawkeyes landed the commitment of New Jersey native Greyson Pettit from Delsea Regional High School. Pettit, who also visited Rutgers, announced his decision via Instagram.

Pettit recently made waves after going from the No. 21 seed at the New Jersey State Championships to winning a state title. Even more impressive, he did so after tearing his ACL and LCL during his junior season, according to his Instagram.
