The New York Giants added some depth to their quarterback room on Monday ā and they did so by signing a veteran NFL talent who has plenty of experience with one of the primary assistant coaches he'll be working with in New York. On Monday, the Giants signed 10th-year NFL veteran Brandon Allen. Allen was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Allen is a bit of a journeyman quarterback, playing for six different franchises (Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Rams, Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans) over the course of his career. Now, he will make his seventh stop with the Giants. The #Giants are adding to their QB room, agreeing to terms on a deal with veteran QB Brandon Allen.

Now, Allen and Callahan will get the chance to reunite, Allen has made 19 appearances and 10 starts over the course of his NFL career, and is just 2-8 as a starter. He has passed for 1,882 yards, 11 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in the league.
