The New Orleans Pelicans will reportedly open a coaching search that includes interim head coach James Borrego as a candidate, according to NBA insider Marc Stein. Borrego went 24-46 during his time leading the Pelicans this season. Before Borrego joined the Pelicans, he was the head coach of the Charlotte Hornets for four seasons. He went 138-163 with the Hornets and helped the team make the Play In tournament during his final two seasons in Charlotte but the team never advanced to the playoffs under his leadership.
