Eagles host ‘violent’ TE prospect ahead of 2026 NFL draft

The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to target the tight end position in next week’s 2026 NFL draft. They took another step toward preparing for that on Monday. The Eagles hosted LSU tight end Bauer Sharp on a top-30 prospect visit on Monday at the Jefferson Health Training Complex, according to Sharp’s Instagram account .

Sharp might not be a household name for Eagles fans who have read about the possibility of taking Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq in the first round. The Eagles are listed at +115 to win over 10. 5 games on DraftKings for the 2026-27 season.

Sharp, a zero-star recruit coming out of high school, spent three years at Southeastern Louisiana (2021-23) before transferring to Oklahoma (2024) then LSU (2025).

With the Sooners and Tigers, Sharp recorded 576 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He’s also a “violent” blocker, according to The Athletic’s Dane Brugler. “Sharp is more average than above average in most categories,” Brugler wrote in his draft preview, The Beast .
