Mark Andrews reveals the new Ravens staff's early focus

Ravens tight end Mark Andrews said communication has been a defining theme early in the offseason program under the team's new coaching staff. “I think all of it is important. I think anytime you are running an organization, or you're doing anything within a team, the most important thing that starts from the top is communication.

That's what they've been priding themselves in, and they hold true to that. So, I'm excited about it. ” Andrews was asked about his early impressions of the coaching staff and how they’ve handled interaction with players during the start of the offseason program.

He pointed to consistency in messaging and communication as the most noticeable element so far as the team begins installing the foundation of the 2026 season under head coach Jesse Minter. The veteran tight end, entering his eighth season in Baltimore, is one of the longest-tenured offensive players on the roster and has played under multiple coaching staffs throughout his career. Andrews said the approach has been clear and steady in the early stages of the program as players continue to adjust to new systems and terminology.
